Remote monitoring – your watchdog

The remote monitoring system (SCADA – Supervision Control and Data Acquisition) implemented in each BioBooster treatment plant ensures constant monitoring from virtually anywhere. What does it mean to you?

Regulation of treatment capacity and volume according to demand The intelligent control system regulates treatment capacity and volume according to current demands. What is more, the treatment plant is fully automated and therefore requires minimum manual supervision.

Monitor system performance anywhere anytime… Grundfos’ dedicated service team monitors all data and occurrences from our headquarters in Bjerringbro. Remote monitoring can free resources in your team, especially if you opt for a service agreement with Grundfos BioBooster. The need for specialised education and training is minimal, thus reducing manpower costs and resources. User-friendly plant data are always accessible for the appointed personnel from your production site. Log-on can be performed from an internet browser – no special software is required. You can also access the system from the BioBooster control container.

…and receive alarms by SMS The alarm supervision feature sends SMS messages to personnel on duty, local personnel or Grundfos BioBooster personnel (in case of a service agreement). The system is designed to close down the plant automatically in case of a critical alarm. Alarms can be defined and customised by the user, and real-time as well as historic data are available on demand.

Powerful reporting and documentation tools Trend graphs show continuous effluent data in a graphical user interface so you can always get a snapshot overview of current treatment. Data are logged and can be incorporated in scheduled reports such as weekly or monthly reports. Apart from ensuring constant effluent quality, the data can serve as documentation of compliance with effluent content limits towards local authorities.
