When designing the site plan for a wastewater treatment plant you simply don’t place it close to neighbouring houses because of the smell issue. Or do you? The Grundfos BioBooster treatment plant challenges this presumption!!
No hazard or nuisance to neighbours
Taking a bird’s eye view, the BioBooster treatment plant can be placed in the manufacturer’s own parking lot – only a few metres away from neighbouring houses. A combination of several technologies ensures an odour-free treatment plant. For instance, the organic removal process occurs in enclosed reactors, and the emission of gasses is filtered via an activated carbon filter. Also, the wastewater treatment plant’s exterior is harmonised with its surroundings so that it does not affect residential areas and other commercial sites.
