Tour de Paris
For the second year in a row Grundfos BioBooster supports the Danish Børnecancerfonden and sponsors Søren Nøhr Bak’s cycle tour for the benefit of children with cancer. The tour starts 18 July from the town of Ringe, Denmark heading off to Paris with a glorious arrival at Champs-Élysées on July 24th. The tour covers seven legs the shortest of which is 120 km, the longest 220 km - 1252 km in total.
Søren Nøhr Bak, Grundfos BioBooster’s Technical Director is amongst the 265 cyclists participating in Team Rynkeby – the largest number of cyclists gathered to support this cause thus far. The Danish Prime Minister, two members of the Cabinet and few other celebrities are also taking part in the team.
Last year Team Rynkeby managed to collect an impressive sum of DKK 1,450,000 for the charity fond. The expectation for this year is to reach DKK 2 millions.
